500 g panettone, cut four thick slices

Preheat the oven to 220C. Place the panettone slices in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the panettone browns lightly. Meanwhile, gently warm the muscat fruits and remove from the heat. Place 1 slice of panettone on each dessert plate. Spoon the muscat fruits over the sliced panettone, drizzle over the luscious liqueur syrup and top with a dollop of clotted cream or mascarpone, and serve immediately.
